Who We Are.

Women of Morals Empowering the Neighborhood (W.O.M.E.N.) was founded in 2014 as a 501c3 non-profit, providing services to children, youth and young adults affected by community violence. Our signature program, Beautiful Black Butterflies, began in 2014, when our founder, Mrs. Renee Reaser noticed  the lack of life skills training and services for young women of color in West Athens Westmont.

Our programs were created to support young women and their families, who want to leave behind gang life, may be in foster care or may be involved with the Probation Department.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower, educate at-risk youth and their families in the community and help them make positive life choices that will enable them to maximize personal potential, through life skills training and collaborative programming with schools and other community based organizations.

Our Vision

Our vision is to re-energize the inner-city areas Palmdale, Lancaster by developing and providing resources and improving the social and economic conditions.
